Well, it's been a while!
I now have 2 aquariums, i dropped one on my finger (6 foot 150KG), but went back to work last week after 5 weeks off.
Nothing much happening, hence no updates...
Mum & Dad are off on a cruise in April, which means 3 weeks of peace and quiet!
I am off to see Hayley Westenra again in April, she's at the Buxton Opera House on April the 5th.
Hope everyone is OK!

FASTEDDIE & SweePer have had a baby!!! YAY!!! Congratulations!
I am shortly leaving the house to go and see Katherine Jenkins perform, i have been looking forward to this for ages! (I don't get out much!)
I am thinking of going to see Andy in Canada in February, Whistler is already having fantastic snowfall! Last year when i went it was a bit of a bad year for snow *sigh*
I am busy with the Police, made my first arrests! It took ages, no-one ever does anything wrong when i'm about!
I am also going to see Hayley Westenra again in December.
Anyway, thats all folks.... I know, I know, too much excitement for one post! *g*

| Wow, I am behind... again! |

Well, what can I say, I still don't know if I am coming or going! Being a Special Constable is taking up my time!
I visited Cadogan Hall in London in June to attend a concert for Global Angels, a charity set up by Molly Bedingfield to help children. The main reason I went was to see Hayley Westenra (http://www.hayleywestenra.com) perform, she has one of the most beautiful voices I have ever heard. I enjoyed it so much I have paid to go to another concert on September 23rd, again at Cadogan Hall in London, in which she is appearing. I have also booked to see Katherine Jenkins (http://www.katherinejenkins.co.uk) in concert, at Grimsby of all places, in October. Both artists have exceptional voices, Hayley singing "Pokarakare Ana" and Katherine singing "Somewhere Over The Rainbow" brings tears to my eyes every time. (Which ruins my street cred, not that I have much anyway?) Needless to say, visit their websites, hear them and be eternally captivated!
I also attended the Williamsburg Buffy Weekend in June and loved every minute of it! It was great to meet new and old friends and thought SweePer did an amazing job, as usual! Apart from leaving New York at 17:00 and arriving in Williamsburg at the Hotel at 03:15 the next morning, everything flowed seamlessly! (I need to work on my driving distance/time calculations!)
I shall probably post again later this week, as no doubt I will have forgotten something!

Ok, i upgraded my account to sponsored plus.. It says that they will try and base the Adverts that are displayed on your interests. Thats fine, i notice the CSI related adverts, but, come on, i mean... Paternity tests????? Is someone trying to tell me something? *sigh*
The good news, I start as a Special Constable tomorrow, on duty, let loose... *g*
The bed news, my friends Dad died at the weekend. So i am a little upset at the moment.

| Williamsburg Buffy Weekend |

I have now booked my trip to Williamsburg, for the Williamsburg Buffy Weekend! I am so looking forward to it! If anyone wants to make the trip, let me know and i shall pass you the details. It's the 09-11 June.
I have now completed my police training. I have to wait now to be "sworn in" before a magistrate, then, once all of my uniform has arrived i can start working!
On a bad note, Andy, my friend, has had to return from Canada, as his Dad is seriously ill and in Hospital. He only lost his Mum last year and i am so sorry for him. He is a nice guy and doesn't deserve to lose his Father so soon after his Mother.

| A Trip gone Bad! |

Myself and a friend decided to got to Edinburgh on the Train Today. I get free passes, so we decided just to have a day out.
The train to Edinburgh was cancelled!
We then decided to got to London. The train was 60 minutes late!
When we arrived in london, i asked my mate where he wanted to go. We decided on the British Museum, as neither of us had been there before. Of we headed to South Kensington, as this is where Andy said the British museum was. It wasn't! We then decided to go to the Cabinet War Rooms, which was quite interesting, i have to say. I don't think with German Bombs falling, that i would have stood on the roof to watch, as Winston Churchill did!
Anyway, we then decided to head to Leicester Square to watch a movie, but on the way Andy saw a sign for the IMAX Cinema, so we decided to go there instead. We didn't. We instead got lost and walked around in circles for half an hour.
We then went to the Pub!
So, 13 hours after leaving my house i am writing this, to say i had a great day! If nothing else, it was entertaining! *g*

I still have the Flu... It's been over a week now, although, just to cheer me up, Mum pointed out that Dad had been Ill with it for nearly 4 weeks! Thanks for that update Mum!
Simon, my brother, is now back from 2 weeks in Cyprus, where he was attending a friends wedding. Lucky sod! Which means my peaceful two weeks home vacation is now at an end! *g*
Looking forward to the Williamsburg Buffy Weekend. All i have to do, is find a way to pay for it!
The good news is the next episode of "The West Wing" is on tonight. Yay!
And I am back at work on Monday. *sigh*

I feel dreadful... I think i have the Flu! *sigh*
On an upbeat note, i went on the First Aid at Work course last week and passed! So i am now "certified" for 3 years. I also have a license to use an Automated External Defibrillator, so am now fully equipped to deal with basic life saving emergencies! *g*
Also, I have noticed i actually have friends on my friends list *wow* *waves to friends*

I am sat at home, feeling ill as usual, reflecting on life in general.
It occurred to me, while looking through old photo's, that my happiest times have been meeting people i met through "The Bronze" Buffy posting board. So to all of you, wherever you may now be, I say Thank You. I know i haven't exactly kept in touch with you all, but i want you all to know, i think of you all regularly and hope you are all keeping safe and well!

Spoke to Anne from the bronze last night. First time in years! it was good to catch up. Other than that, my car failed it's MOT, another £120 down the drain!
